The traditional Fisherman’s Festivals are back in Albufeira on the first weekend of September. The event celebrates the city’s history as a former fishing village and offers a variety of activities for the whole family.
Praça dos Pescadores will be the center of attention during the festivities, with around 20 local associations serving snacks and sweets typical of the region. There will also be live music every day, especially Bonga on Sunday night.
